摘要

This work shows that the synthesis of dolichol P-mannose, from which carbohydrates used for posttranslational modifications are derived, is mediated by three proteins that assemble into a functional complex, with DPMS1 serving as the catalytic module. DPMS1 is found to exert a broad influence on various aspects of Arabidopsis development, surprisingly including sensitivity to ammonium.
